1 year, 1 month and 1 day and about 10,000 hard packed espresso coffees later, Brisbane artist and self-confessed caffeine addict, Howling Rabbits, has sailed beyond the doors of a dimly lit, paisley clad studio for his debut LP - Beware The Hunter.
Amongst a lyric-sheet strewn space, lost in a suburban house, impossible chains of self-made retro effects hum on seas of black, spaghetti studio cables, allowing residual fuzz, echoing guitars and hypnotic bass to throb - stopping papery vocals from falling into silence.
Little Red Riding Hood, Houdini, twisted love, seething isolation and myriad of sinful suburban secrets, are characters and landscapes invited to set the lyrical tone for this album.
